Google Apps in the country to help Nigerian businesses become more efficient and productive.
Google Apps for Business allows businesses to give Google’s communication and collaboration applications to their entire organization, while all services are hosted by Google and available to users via any internet-connected computer and mobile devices.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Chief Executive Officer, Descasio, Mr. Dele Nedd said the Google Apps for Business, which is a cloud-based office IT tool is a web based email, calendar and documents that let’s one work from anywhere.
“With Google Apps, all your work is automatically saved in the cloud. You will have access to everything and be able to work securely, no matter where you are in the world and what device you are on,” he explained.
According to the Head of Enterprise Sales Engineering, Google, Mr. Naseer Saleem Ahmed, over 5 million businesses all over the world have “gone Google” with over 150 organisation aboard in Nigeria.
He said the platform, “is conservative in nature and gives the capacity to do and achieve a lot, aims to change the way work is done and allows creativity and also, empowers employees to be more productive.”
